Having family photos taken and wanting to look youthful and fresh? Maybe you’ve booked a sultry shoot and you need makeup that brings out your sensual side and gives you confidence. Perhaps you’re speaking at or hosting a special event or heading out for a formal night of dancing til your feet give out?

From Prom night to corporate events, or family photos, our in studio or On site glam makeup application is designed to bring out your best attributes with high end products and “unique to you” application. We will create a look that gets you event ready, while bringing out and highlighting your favorite features.

Do you travel? How far can you go?

I everywhere. Visit my travel page for specifics. Events outside of the continental USA MUST be booked a minimum of 6 months in advance.

How can I prepare for my session

Preparation is key when it comes to a successful and flawless makeup look- Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! 8 glasses a day for several days leading up to the day of will make your skin youthful and clear. A skincare routine, with spf, moisturizer and an eye cream are simply a must for most adults.


Bridal trials are always recommended! It’s a perfect opportunity to go over all your details to make sure we get the right look on your wedding day. For all other services, such as dances, or portrait makeup, trials aren’t necessary but can be accommodated to get your look and preferences down pat.

Do you do anything besides weddings?

Absolutely! I book for almost everything from makeup for Photo shoots, Boudior, Weddings and even some commercial work. Contact me with your specific needs and we can discuss all the details

Would you come to my wedding venue/ hotel?

Definitely! My services can always be on location. I will come to your home, office, hotel, cabin or even yurt!

Do you have any other weddings/ appointments on my wedding day?

No, when booking me you will get my full availability on your wedding day. I understand that your timeline will not be ready until 2 weeks- a month before your day, and even sometimes changes happen the night before! I am here to work with you and your wedding vendors.

What kind of products do you use?

I carry professional lines and lots of fancy and vetted products… why? because they work and are worth every penny! 

Do I need false lashes? Can I provide my own?

I usually recommend false lashes for photos and brides, and they are included in my rates. If you’re in love with a certain brand/style I can apply them from an brand new, unopened package for an additional fee.

Love your work! How do I book you?

Just head on over to the contact page! To secure your wedding day you will need to sign your contract and send your down payment.

If I inquire about my wedding will you hold my date?

The only way to guarantee my availability on your date is when to sign your contract and send in your down payment.

How far in advance do I need to book you for my wedding?

As soon as possible! Some dates tend to book up to a year in advance.

I contacted you a few weeks/months ago and now you are no longer available

Unfortunately, this has happened a few times… and sadly, if you don’t fill out the contract, accept your quote and sign contract I can’t save your date.

Do you offer touch-ups after the wedding? Do you stay for the wedding?

Yes, for an additional fee, I can be around the entire day, or put together a completely customized pack of items to keep you looking flawless well into the wedding night.

Will you communicate with my planner?

Yes, only for details such as a timeline or if you’ve booked me for the full day. However I prefer to keep communication with you, the more I get to know you I will be able to be there for you. If you want to schedule or make changes please call or email me directly.

ALL faces are beautiful, regardless of age, color, sex, or gender. All faces are deserving of honor and respect. My job as a makeup artist is to enhance that beauty by uplifting and caring for the client in order to help them feel confident and free.

Walking this journey with my clients has blessed me more than I can express…I believe ALL people are beautiful, and I’ve been gifted the chance to help them tell their stories by simply adding color.


I used Blush Strokes Beauty for my wedding, which included hair and makeup for myself and makeup for my bridesmaids. Crystal is so much fun to work with! She goes above and beyond to make sure you feel confident and beautiful. Crystal brought Kimi as an assistant and they worked fantastically together and ended ahead of schedule. Also, it was an uncharacteristically warm day in Oregon at 106° and everyone commented on how I didn’t look hot at all, which I can only attribute to the makeup artistry being fantastic! ~SK~

During these times of distance and social restrictions, it can be a difficult decision whether or not to hire a hair and makeup artist. Never fear though, you can rely on our guidance and expertise to help you achieve your perfect authentic look, without trials, salons or other non-essential appointments. In this do-it-yourself, virtual bridal lesson, Crystal will cover:
• Skincare and products- what you need and what you can skip for glowing skin
• One on one instructions on how and where to apply your complete bridal makeup look. From start to finish
• Tried and true tips and techniques to keep your look fresh and in place for the entire day and into the ending night.
• A personalized chart with instructions on how and where to apply each step.
• A list of recommended products and brushes.

BEAUTY PLUS MAKEUP PARTY– Great for a group of up to 4 friends looking to try new techniques

Fees and Breakdowns

Full Bridal Look- $400

Second Artist/Hair Artist – Starting at $400 and up (based on number of clients needing services)

Many Brides prefer to have one person for each service, Makeup + Hair. This can be for many reasons, often for time saving with larger bridal parties, or for the luxurious experience of a complete makeover, including professional hair styling, luxury skincare and makeup. Whatever the reason- this can almost always be accommodated SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY

Bridal Party (Bride +3 bridesmaids) $650

Additional party members– $150 each

Partial Application- $75

Included in this rate are a complimentary Bridal trial application no earlier than 4 weeks ahead of the date, false lashes, and a full touch up kit. Bridal party application includes false lashes and small touch up kit. A partial application includes minimal skin prep, and simple makeup application (does not include false lashes) Bridal Party Members may purchase a trial application for $75

For scheduling purposes I require 10 minutes to reset between clients in order to clean and disinfect my station. I also need access to clean running water

Day Rates: Should a bride choose to have me stay for the duration, or return to the event for a change in makeup or a touch-up, a rate of $85 per hour (minimum 2 hour booking) or $400 for up to 6 hours will be applied

Touch up kit
Bridal touch up/Honeymoon kit is available for a fee of $100 and must be requested within 1 week of event . Includes a mascara, powder foundation, blush, liner, lipstick and full brush set to keep you looking effortlessly beautiful for your honeymoon and beyond!

Location and Travel: Unless otherwise specified within a particular bridal package, a location fee of $50 + $.66 per mile traveled will be applied. Travel fees within the boundaries of Idaho, Washington, and Oregon will be capped at $500. Travel outside of these areas are subject to airfare and accommodations provision
PARKING FEES: Where parking, valet or toll fees may be incurred; the amount will be included with the final bill and due for payment on the day of event.
FERRY/TOLL FEES: Where ferry/toll fees may be incurred; the amount will be included with the final bill and due for payment on the day of event
AIRFARE & ACCOMMODATIONS: All costs for long distance/out of state travel to a booked event are to be paid by client. Costs may include, but are not limited to: airfare, hotel, transportation, parking, per-Diem, service incidentals and all taxes

Retainer fees and reservations: I require a 30% non-refundable retainer of the total cost amount of services booked for the wedding day. There will be an additional fee for travel outside of Pierce County for the trial.
I book on a first come first served basis and these rates are valid until July 1, 2023. Your wedding date is not confirmed unless I have received both the deposit and signed contract. If we have completed a trial and another client is interested in the same date, you will have first right of refusal and will have to secure your booking within 24 hours of my contacting you regarding your wedding date.

Below are the current health and safety protocols I have implemented for makeup and hairstyling services. These will be followed by myself and any additional artists booked through me for your wedding date:

-A KN95 mask and face shield will be worn by myself and any additional artists for the duration of the reservation. -All kit contents will be packaged in nonporous packaging on the workstation so they can be cleaned and disinfected between each client. -Makeup products will be kept sealed and in packaging during the makeup application to avoid contamination. -Station (including any packaging on the work station) and chairs will be disinfected between each client. -Hair brushes will be disinfected between each client. When hair brushes cannot be disinfected on site, a separate clean and disinfected brush will be used. -Hair pins, elastics, etc. are not reused between clients.

COVID-19 Update

Your safety is our utmost priority and so we have made necessary adjustments to our policies to give our clients more flexibility during this time of crisis. Please take note of the following COVID-19 guidelines and requirements: 

  • We are BARBICIDE COVID-19 certified, and follow proper sanitation, disinfection and sterilization procedures using professional grade bactericidal, virucidal and fungicidal products on all tools, and high touch areas such as door handles, faucets, service chairs, service counters, front desk, P.O.S system, phone, etc.
  • All clients not actively receiving services will need to wear a face mask as required by local guidelines. Clients getting hair services should wear face masks that wrap around the ears. I also will be wearing face masks for your protection and mine.
  • Upon arrival at the studio (if applicable), please sanitize your hands using hand sanitizer, available in the set space for your use.
  • Please stay home if you feel ill; if you have a sore throat or coughing with fever above 100F. I appreciate your cooperation in providing adequate notice.
  • Please only bring items that you need. Avoid bringing tablets, laptops, food, drinks, etc unless absolutely necessary.

Bridal, On-Site Reservations

The appropriate PPE will be worn for the duration of the job.
Tools including brushes will not be reused between client/talent/models on the same day. All products are stored in non porous containers which are disinfected and sanitized in between each job, and are brought to your event or to the studio clean and ready to use
The workstation and surrounding areas will be cleaned and appropriately disinfected between each client/model/talent.
All reusable tools have been appropriately cleaned and disinfected prior to each job.
All team members and clients will have their temperature taken prior to engaging in any application or other interactive activities
All product, containers, and reusable applicators will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected in between each client/model/talent.

Your bridal beauty team will require 12 or fewer people to a room.  If you know you will have a large amount of people in your getting ready space please consider having two separate areas for us to work and your bridal party and guests to visit.  

Anyone not receiving services at the time will need to be masked at any time they are in the room
